Homo Volens

For the opening exhibition of Atelier 195/197, I made the installation Homo Volens ( The Willing Man), high in the trees of their sculpture garden. The inspiration for this work was the essay ‘Homo volens’ by Kees Vuyk: a philosophical study on the views of Nietzsche and Heidegger on the will of modern man.
