Solo exhibition of two-dimensional work
Spore provides a glimpse into the two-dimensional and three-dimensional world of Tijs
Rooijakkers. He is best known for his large installations. And many wonder: how
is he making it up? Spore shows you how Tijs works; the creative process, the endless
examining of shapes, movement and materials. The exhibition shows where the finds inspiration, how he puts his ideas and shapes on paper and thus forms the basis of his large sculptures and instalations.
Evolving movements
The exhibition shows you the result of years of playing with different shapes. Always
again, the same movement; observe and see how it evolves. The tornado, the
the carousel, the boat and the spinning, all symbolize movement, change and
morphosis.
Spore can be seen from August 29 to October 7, 2018 at Art Experience by KRL,
Sectie-C, Hall 12, Daalakkersweg 12 in Eindhoven.
Art Experience by KRL is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00
